What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We also store the meal plan data, recipes, and ingredient lists that you and your household add to the app. Nothing else is collected.
How we use it
Your data is used only to run your household's meal planner — to generate plans, store recipes, and send your household the weekly shopping list. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than making the app work for you.
Who can see your data
Only members of your household can see your household's recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists. Each household's data is isolated at the database level — other households can't see yours.
Google Calendar
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we write your dinner events to your calendar when you confirm a meal plan. We only write events — we never read your calendar or access any existing events. You can disconnect at any time by revoking access in your Google account settings.
We send meal plan summaries and shopping lists to the email addresses in your household — but only when you confirm a plan or explicitly request an email. We don't send marketing emails, newsletters, or any communication unrelated to your meal plan.
Data deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deleting your account removes your personal information (name, email, and login credentials) from our system immediately. Household data — recipes and meal plans created by your household — remains intact for other household members. If you want household data removed too, all members of the household would need to delete their accounts.
